We welcome reservations for rides with an estimated fare of ¥15,000 or more.

If Mitomo Taxi is Fully Booked
A

If I am unavailable to take your reservation, please consider using the “Uber” ride-sharing app.
Within the Uber app, you can specifically select a vehicle with “Base Access” for your convenience. I provide this information as a backup option to ensure your journey remains seamless.

Is it possible to use a wheelchair?

It is not possible to ride inside the vehicle while in a wheelchair.

Please tell me the area where you can operate.
A

Mitomo private taxi business authorization conditions are as follows: If your journey either starts or ends within the Keihin area of Kanagawa Prefecture (Kawasaki, Yokohama, Yokosuka, Miura), we can provide our service.

If you do not have a reservation, we are usually available in the following areas:

  • Yokohama (Isogo, Naka, Nishi, Minami, Konan Wards) and surrounding areas
  • Yokosuka U.S. Naval Base and its surroundings

Examples of service availability: Available (Round trip or One-way):

  • Between Zushi, Kamakura, or Fujisawa (outside Keihin area) ⇔ Yokohama City University Hospital (within Keihin area)
  • Between a designated location in another prefecture (outside Keihin area) ⇔ InterContinental Yokohama Grand (within Keihin area)

Even if the departure location is outside the Keihin area, it is okay as long as the “departure or arrival” location is within the Keihin area.

Not Available (One-way):

  • Between locations that are both outside the Keihin area (e.g., from Zushi to Kamakura, or between locations in other prefectures).

Can you provide regular pick-up service?

We will do our best to accommodate you if conditions such as time, pick-up location, etc. are met. Please feel free to contact us.

What are your business days and hours?
A

For pre-booked transfers, we will do our best to accommodate customer requests. If there is no advance reservation, it is basically not open late at night or early in the morning.

How much luggage can be loaded?
A

In our vehicle (All-New ALPHARD PHEV Executive Lounge (40 Series)), if the 3rd row seats are retracted, 4 golf bags can be loaded vertically without stacking them.
The wide opening makes loading and unloading stress-free. The back door can be opened and closed automatically even if both hands are occupied.
Maximum capacity is 6 people including the driver. However, for your ultimate comfort, we recommend a maximum of 5 passengers. When 4 or 5 passengers are on board, space for large luggage is limited. If you have 3 or more large suitcases, golf bags, strollers, or car seats, please consult with us in advance.

Is Wi-Fi available in the vehicle?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available. Mitomo Taxi offers complimentary in-car Wi-Fi for all passengers. Simply scan the QR code to connect to the internet easily.

At Mitomo Taxi, we provide individual fare estimates tailored to your pick-up location, time of day, and travel plan.

Please note that in addition to the metered fare, charges such as pick-up fees, reservation fees, late night/early morning surcharges, and expressway tolls may apply.

Is the Mitomo Taxi fare expensive?

This is a fare system that has been approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Regional Transport Bureau) after application.
Please refer to the page about Mitomo taxi fares.
I am a member of the Yokosuka Private Taxi Cooperative.
So, each individual taxi belonging to each Keihin area union has the same fare system.
The fare system is the same as that of general corporate taxi companies.
